Im Nachmittagsspiel der International Chablais Hockey Trophy ging es für das Schweizer U20 Nationalteam um den Turniersieg. Mit dem knappsten aller Ergebnisse konnte die Schweiz den Turniersieg möglich machen.
Stark überlegene Schweizer besiegen Belarus mit 6:0. Damit bedeutet es nach der Vorrunde die Heimreise für die Weißrussen und für die Schweizer ist der Weg ins Viertelfinale geöffnet. Genoni kann sich über seinen ersten Shutout-Sieg in dem Turnier freuen und als letzter Gegner wartet auf sein Team Großbritanien.
